Speaker: John Terech "Structure And Clarity Of Mission
Over the past year our churches have had to reinvent how we do mission. We know what mission looked like in the past, but what should mission look like today. We will soon be entering a post-pandemic environment. How do we measure success in our churches going forward? How do we know if we are succeeding in our mission? Are there any structural changes we may need to make in order to bring clarity to our mission?
John Terech is a former Wall Street executive and New York native. He graduated from Boston University with a degree in Business Administration and is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, and a Commissioned Lay Pastor in ECO. Having been in ministry for the last 15 years in Palm City, Florida, John also attended Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and is working toward completing his degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. He is married to Patty Terech and they have 3 children – John III, Joseph, and Lindsay.

Leader: Christen Kinard What Do We Do Now That We Are Online?
The pandemic and resultant quarantine taught churches and their congregations that we can worship, study, pray, and gather online. We learned how to stream, Zoom, edit, post; the learning curve was steep.
Today, churches are faced with a new challenge as they consider how to engage a split congregation—at home and online. This moment demands thoughtfulness, intentionality, and collaboration. Let me help you discern what it means for your church to minister in the digital space and how to build the bridge between what you're doing now and what you will do in the future.
Christen Kinard has spent a decade as a professional in communications and marketing. She has helped businesses and organizations as diverse as high-end retail stores and independent schools develop and implement efficient and impactful communications strategies.
Digital Congregations sits at the intersection of her desire to do meaningful work, her belief in the importance of faith communities, and her talents and experience.
She has an MA in Peace and Conflict Resolution from Norwich University and a BA in International Relations and French Literature from the University of South Carolina.
Leader: Dr. Jerry Kasberg Re-Formatting Your Church after Covid-19?
In light of the unprecedented and unique year we experienced in 2020, how will your church look, feel, continue, and thrive in the years ahead? What will be the same, and what will need to change? How will your people respond in light of what they have experienced, and how will you respond to their response? Is the challenge for you more daunting or exciting? Let's look at how we might Re-unite the congregation with the unity it needs, Re-ignite the congregation with the passion of the Gospel, and Re-invite the congregation into a new way of being the church.
Dr. Jerry Kasberg is currently the Senior Pastor and Head of Staff at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Columbus, Ohio. He made a commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through the ministry of Young Life in High School. He graduated from The Ohio State University and then spent 15 years on the staff of Young Life here in Columbus and Harrisonburg, Pennsylvania.
Jerry then went on to complete a Master’s of Divinity Degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, followed by both a Master’s in Theology and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. Jerry has served in 5 Presbyterian churches, of which 4 are have become ECO congregations.
